Location Holiday City is located only a few miles from exit 82A (Lakehurst-Camden) of the Garden State Parkway, in Berkeley Township, minutes from Toms River, where regularly scheduled express buses go to and from New York City, Newark and Philadelphia. It's approximately 65 miles from New York City, 50 miles from Newark and 50 miles from Philadelphia.Located only minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, the average temperatures are generally cooler in warm months and warmer in cold months, than the surrounding urban areas. Holiday City is only minutes away from the famous beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and using the Garden State Parkway, is approximately 50 miles from Atlantic City. Also Holiday City is only minutes away from major shopping centers, Churches and Temples of nearly every denomination, medical and cultural facilities, picnic areas, lakes and golf courses and many of the services and conveniences of a city.

Facilities Many facilities are available to residents. The clubhouses have room for hobbies, cards, billiards, etc.; A library; and a hall for meetings, movies, dancing, theater and other entertainment. Recreational outdoor areas include a pool, shuffleboard and bocce courts. There are neighborhood shopping malls with a variety of shops. Private buses provide service around the community and into surrounding towns on a regularly scheduled basis. There is a Hospital nearby and a volunteer First Aid Squad and ambulances located in Holiday City. All utilities are underground. Most homes are heated with gas baseboard hot water. There is city water and city sewers, natural gas(most homes), paved streets, curbs, storm drains, street lighting, and individual driveways.

Restrictions One restriction at Holiday City is that one member of each household must be 55 or over and no children under the age of 19 may live in the home. Your family or guests may visit anytime.

Type of Ownership Type of ownership is fee simple. You buy your home as you would buy any home. You own your home and land and get full title and deed.
